Lavallette Beach Engagement Session • Arianna & Dean

 NEW JERSEY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

There’s something about the beach at golden hour that always feels a little slower, a little softer. The light stretches out, the colors settle into those warm pastels, and everything just feels calm in the best way. That’s exactly how Arianna and Dean’s engagement session in Lavallette unfolded.

From the moment we started, they were completely at ease with each other. No overthinking, no trying too hard—just the two of them, laughing, talking, and naturally falling into step together. It’s always so special to witness that kind of connection, where everything feels effortless.

Their story started a few years ago in a math class at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. What began as a simple college connection turned into something lasting—they’ve now been together for five years. Hearing that, it made so much sense watching them together. There’s a comfort between them that only comes with time, with shared routines, and with truly knowing one another.

Their first date already hinted at that thoughtfulness. Dean planned a night out in Philadelphia and surprised Arianna with dinner at a steakhouse, both of them dressed up for the occasion. It’s easy to imagine that excitement, that feeling of something new beginning. And even now, that hasn’t changed much—they still love going out to try new restaurants, calling themselves big foodies, while also appreciating the everyday moments like cooking dinner together or even running errands side by side.

As the sun started to dip, the sky turned into the softest mix of pinks and golds, almost like it was set up just for them. The kind of light that makes everything feel a little more meaningful, a little more memorable. It wrapped around them as they walked along the shoreline, barefoot in the sand, arms around each other like they had nowhere else to be.

They stayed close the whole time—laughing at the little things, stealing quiet moments in between, and just enjoying being there together. It never felt posed or forced. Just real, easy, and full of that kind of joy that you can’t fake.

In January, Dean proposed in their apartment, just the two of them. A quiet, private moment that felt true to who they are. The ring itself carries so much meaning—it features the diamond from his mother’s engagement ring and the band from his grandmother’s. It’s one of those details that says so much about family, history, and the life they’re building together.

Arianna shared that what she loves most about Dean is how outgoing, kind, and generous he is, and especially how he’s always fully himself no matter who he’s around. Dean described Arianna as his best friend and fiancé all in one, and said that no matter what they’re doing—even the most ordinary things—they always have a good time together. That really stayed with me, because it’s exactly what you see when you’re around them.

They describe themselves as go-with-the-flow, the kind of couple that enjoys the little things and doesn’t rush through life. They value time with family and friends, and they make space for fun, whether that’s trying a new restaurant or remembering their favorite trip together to Charleston and Kiawah Island.

Arianna and Dean have such a natural way of being together. It’s in the way they look at each other, the way they lean in without thinking, the way they laugh without holding back. The kind of love that doesn’t need direction—it just shows up on its own.

Sessions like this are always a reminder that the best moments aren’t complicated. It’s the simple ones—the soft light, the ocean in the background, and two people completely wrapped up in each other—that end up meaning the most.

Congratulations, Arianna & Dean!

A ROMANTIC PROPOSAL AT THE HIGHLAW IN WEST ORANGE, NJ • KAYLEE & FRANK

  • NEW JERSEY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER •

Some proposals look effortless.
That’s usually because a lot of care happened quietly beforehand.

Weeks before the proposal, Frank reached out to me with a clear intention. He wanted the moment to feel natural, meaningful, and completely centered on Kaylee. No big production. No distractions. Just something that felt like them.

We met at The Highlawn ahead of time and walked the property together. We talked through the flow of the day, where the light fell, and which spots felt the most intimate. Frank already had a vision. The gazebo stood out immediately. Tucked away, calm, and quietly beautiful.

He planned everything down to the details. The timing. The placement. Asking his brother to bring in two floral arrangements to frame the space without giving anything away. Then all that was left to do was wait.

On the day of the proposal, the weather shifted. A light drizzle settled in. Fog rolled across the skyline, softening the view of New York City until it nearly disappeared. Instead of changing the plan, we leaned into it. The fog made everything feel more private. More still.

When Frank got down on one knee, the world seemed to slow. Kaylee’s reaction came first. Surprise. Emotion. That quiet intake of breath when you realize what’s happening. And then, without hesitation, she said yes.
No crowd gathered. No phones raised. Just a real moment, exactly as he hoped it would be.

Afterward, they made their way to the upper patio. Champagne popped. Laughter followed. The kind of celebration that doesn’t need much more than a shared look and a few deep breaths.
Rain or shine, it was perfect.

Congratulations, Kaylee + Frank!

Alexandra & Sean • Morristown Engagement Session

 • NEW JERSEY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER •

After several days of rain, the skies finally cleared in late May—just in time for Alexandra and Sean’s engagement session in Morristown, NJ. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect, and what followed was an evening filled with laughter, golden light, and effortless connection between two people so clearly in love.

Morristown is one of my favorite places for engagement photography, especially in the spring. The charming streets, blooming greenery, and historic architecture create endless possibilities for photos. For Alexandra and Sean, we started at the iconic Vail Mansion, a classic backdrop that never disappoints, and a relaxed walk through town.

What stood out most about this session was how natural Alexandra and Sean were together. Whether they were laughing mid-conversation, sneaking in a quick dance, or just holding each other close, their connection was undeniable. My favorite engagement sessions are the ones where couples can simply be themselves—and with these two, that made every frame feel real and alive.

Why Choose Morristown for Engagement Photos?

If you’re recently engaged and looking for a versatile location, Morristown is a perfect choice:

- Historic landmarks like Vail Mansion for timeless, romantic portraits.

- Charming streets and greenery that bring out a lifestyle feel.

- Golden May light that adds a soft, dreamy glow to every photo.

As the sun set, Morristown gave us the most beautiful golden-hour light, wrapping Alexandra and Sean in warmth. It felt like the town itself was celebrating their love. This late-spring session was full of joy, laughter, and easy, unposed moments—the kind that make engagement photos truly meaningful.

Meghan + Brian • Central Park Engagement

NEW JERSEY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER •

There’s something about spring in Central Park that slows the world down. For a few hours, the chaos of the city fades into the background, and you’re left with soft light, blooming trees, and moments that feel like they’re meant just for two people. That was exactly the vibe of Meghan and Brian’s engagement session—calm, intimate, and full of genuine connection.

We started at Bethesda Terrace, where the classic stone arches gave us the perfect setting. From there, we wandered to Bow Bridge, surrounded by the first fresh greens of the season and pops of spring color. Although full of life, the park felt quiet in that rare, magical way, and it let Meghan and Brian just be themselves—laughing, talking, soaking it in.

As we walked, they told me about their wedding plans and shared the story of how Brian proposed. It happened in London, over afternoon tea at the St. Pancras Hotel. Thoughtful and low-key—completely in tune with who they are as a couple: grounded, easygoing, and deeply connected.

They met through mutual friends during a weekend in the Poconos, and from their first date at a cozy French restaurant in NYC, it was clear they had something solid. Meghan says what she loves most about Brian is how caring, kind, and smart he is—and how he’s her biggest supporter. Brian says it’s her kind heart and beautiful smile that pulled him in.

Together, they’re steady and chill. They love trying new restaurants, traveling, reading, and watching documentaries. Their favorite trip so far? Greece in 2023—sun, food, views, and memories they still talk about.

They’re planning a spring 2026 wedding at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club, a venue they love for its lush florals and stone exterior. Meghan says it feels like being in England—and it’s the perfect backdrop for the timeless, romantic day they’re dreaming of.

If this session is any indication, their wedding will be full of love, meaning, and joy. I can’t wait to capture it.

Congratulations, Meghan & Brian!

Florencia + Chris • Rutherford Engagement Session

 • NEW JERSEY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER •

Some love stories begin in unexpected places, but for Florencia and Chris, it all started right at home. Last November, I had the honor of capturing their engagement session in the heart of Rutherford—where their journey first began. Every location we visited held a special piece of their history, making the session not just a photo shoot, but a walk down memory lane.

We began in their childhood neighborhood, strolling through the familiar streets where they grew up. There was something incredibly nostalgic about revisiting the places where their friendship first blossomed. The highlight? Stopping by the football field where Chris once played, with Florencia cheering him on from the sidelines. Standing there together again, this time as an engaged couple, brought a beautiful sense of closure to one chapter and excitement for the next.

From there, we made our way to Lincoln Park in downtown Rutherford. The fall colors were in full bloom, painting the backdrop with warm hues of gold, amber, and crimson. Despite the autumn setting, the day felt more like summer—bright, joyful, and full of energy, mirroring the love between Florencia and Chris. The sunlight filtered through the trees just right, casting a golden glow over every shot. It was one of those sessions where every moment felt effortless, as if the universe itself was celebrating their love.
Engagement sessions are always special, but there’s something uniquely magical about capturing a couple’s love story in the place where it all began. Florencia and Chris’ journey has come full circle, from childhood friends to high school sweethearts to soon-to-be husband and wife.

I am beyond excited to photograph the next chapter of their love story this August.

Congratulations!

Jenna + Daniel • West Point & Princeton Engagement Session

  • NEW JERSEY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER •

Some stories are best told through images, and Jenna and Dan’s engagement session was nothing short of a visual masterpiece. Back in July, I had the privilege of documenting their love story at two extraordinary locations—West Point and Princeton. Both places hold a deep personal significance for them, and their shared joy and connection made every moment special.

Our day began at West Point, a place Jenna knows as a professor at the Academy. The grounds, steeped in history and tradition, were a breathtaking backdrop for their engagement session. The mighty Hudson River glistened under the summer sun, and the historic charm of the old train station added a touch of timeless romance.

Every photo seemed to tell a story. Whether it was the laughter shared as they strolled hand-in-hand or the quiet moments beneath the Academy’s towering buildings, their love radiated against the iconic West Point scenery. It was clear that this place wasn’t just a setting but a reflection of Jenna’s journey and the couple’s shared respect for history and tradition.

From West Point, we embarked on a journey to Princeton, where Dan spent his university years. The drive was a scenic one, building anticipation for the architectural splendor that awaited us. Princeton did not disappoint.

The campus’ gothic spires, lush quads, and historic courtyards seemed to echo with stories of the past, offering the perfect complement to Jenna and Dan’s narrative. Walking through the pathways, the couple’s smiles and lighthearted energy were infectious. They danced in the quads, shared donuts, and laughed their way through the session.

Jenna and Dan’s engagement session was more than just a photoshoot; it was a celebration of their journey and the places that have shaped them. From the historic elegance of West Point to the academic charm of Princeton, every moment felt magical.

Their Love Story

Jenna and Dan’s love story began like so many modern romances, with a simple swipe on Bumble. Their first meeting was at Ambee Coffee in Somerville, NJ, and what started as a plan for a quick 9 AM coffee date turned into an entire morning and afternoon of connection. By the time they parted ways at 1 PM, they had spent hours walking through the streets of Somerville, deep in conversation that felt effortless and natural. For Jenna, it was as if she had known Dan for years—a feeling that would only grow stronger with time.

The Proposal

Their connection continued to deepen, and it wasn’t long before Dan planned a proposal that perfectly reflected the heart of their relationship. He chose High Point Park in New Jersey, the state’s highest elevation point, where the two had shared their third date—a pivotal moment when they realized how special they were to one another. Jenna was completely surprised when Dan popped the question in this meaningful spot, surrounded by the same breathtaking views that had witnessed the early days of their love. She said yes!

When asked what they love most about each other, their answers perfectly capture their bond. Jenna cherishes Dan’s kind and fun-loving spirit, his perfect mix of intellect and empathy, and the way he makes her feel deeply loved. For Dan, it’s all about the team they’ve built together. From the very start, their relationship has been about designing and building the life of their dreams, and with Jenna by his side, he knows there are no limits to what they can achieve.

As a couple, Jenna and Dan strike a balance between planning and spontaneity. They describe themselves as “planners who plan to go with the flow,” crafting intentional plans that leave room for flexibility and adventure. Together, they love indulging in coffee and donuts, exploring new cuisines, reading, enjoying sunny weather, watching sunsets and stargazing, and dreaming about the future they’re creating. Their shared joy for life’s simple pleasures is matched by their passion for travel. Jenna treasures memories of Bermuda and Puerto Rico, while Dan holds Guatemala close to his heart. As a couple, their favorite destination so far has been Turks and Caicos, where they relaxed, explored, and made unforgettable memories together.

Now, as they prepare to celebrate their wedding, Jenna and Dan are looking forward to sharing their love with family and friends. Jenna is especially excited for the vows, the cake, and reconnecting with loved ones she doesn’t often see, while Dan eagerly awaits the moment he sees Jenna’s dress, the energy of the dance floor, and the heartfelt speeches from those who know them best. Their venue, with its elegant marble, glittering chandeliers, and castle-like charm, provides the perfect setting for the beginning of their next chapter.

From a coffee date to a breathtaking proposal and beyond, Jenna and Dan’s story is one of love, intention, and shared dreams.

Congratulations, Jenna & Dan!

And thank you for letting me be part of this unforgettable engagement session —it was truly an honor to capture your love!

Heidi + Joe • Willowwood Arboretum Engagement

   • NEW JERSEY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER •

This spring, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Heidi and Joe's engagement session at the breathtaking Willowwood Arboretum. Nestled in the heart of New Jersey, this hidden gem provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with love, laughter, and some truly stunning moments. From the lush greenery to the romantic blooms, every corner of Willowwood seemed to mirror the beauty of Heidi and Joe’s love story.

Their Love Story

Heidi and Joe’s journey began in Poughkeepsie, NY, where they met through mutual friends at work. What started as casual hangouts during game nights, work lunches, and parties quickly blossomed into a deep connection. They discovered shared passions for board games, video games, and music, and it wasn’t long before they started dating in February 2017.
Their first date took place in Heidi’s college town of New Paltz, NY. They enjoyed a relaxed evening at McGillicuddy's, followed by a jazz concert—an evening that marked the beginning of their beautiful relationship.

Fast forward to a memorable vacation in Charleston, where Joe planned a perfect proposal. After a fun-filled day exploring Fort Sumter and the Aquarium, Joe got down on one knee at the Waterfront Park, sealing their love story with a heartfelt proposal.

When asked what she loves most about Joe, Heidi shared that it’s the way he makes her feel and how he helps her grow. She loves that Joe is always honest with her while being supportive, and how she can feel completely comfortable and open with him. For Joe, it’s Heidi’s adventurous spirit that stands out. He admires how she pushes him out of his comfort zone and loves her hardworking nature, financial savvy, and commitment to self-care. Heidi inspires Joe to be better, and together they complement each other beautifully.

As a couple, Heidi and Joe strike a balance between spontaneity and planning. While Heidi is more spontaneous, Joe enjoys having a plan. This blend of personalities adds a dynamic element to their relationship, making their adventures together even more enjoyable. Whether it’s a cozy home date night with wine and stovetop popcorn or watching food shows like "Master Chef," they cherish their time together. Traveling and playing golf are also among their favorite activities, with each new destination offering them a chance to explore and create lasting memories.

Their favorite vacations reflect their love for discovery and new experiences. Heidi fondly recalls their trip to the Outer Banks, where they immersed themselves in the area’s history and enjoyed each other’s company. Joe, on the other hand, treasures their Charleston vacation, especially the culinary delights, historical explorations, and the festive Christmas lights at the aquarium.

Heidi and Joe’s engagement session at Willowwood Arboretum was nothing short of magical. The love they share, combined with the natural beauty of the arboretum, made for a truly unforgettable day.
I’m beyond excited to capture the next chapter of Heidi and Joe’s love story this September. If their engagement session is any indication, their wedding day will be filled with as much joy, love, and beauty as this special spring day.

Congratulations, Heidi & Joe!

Lauren + Josh • Central Park Engagement Session

•  NEW JERSEY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER •

I couldn't have asked for a more picturesque setting than Central Park in mid-November for Lauren and Josh's engagement session. And let me tell you, the park did not disappoint.

From the moment we started our session, it was evident that Lauren and Josh shared something truly special. Their chemistry was not only visible but palpable, and their love for each other so evident in every smile, every glance, and every embrace! As they strolled hand in hand through the park, each moment seemed to unfold effortlessly, allowing me to capture genuine and heartfelt images at every turn. Their sense of ease and comfort in front of the camera made my job as a photographer an absolute joy.

Central Park may have provided the backdrop, but it was their love that truly stole the show. I can't wait to see what the future holds for these two, and I feel incredibly lucky to have been able to capture a small glimpse of their love story through my lens.

How They Met
Josh and Lauren met on the first day of work in public accounting. They sat next to each other during local training in McLean, Virginia.

Their First Date
Their first unofficial date was a Capitals hockey game. After that night, they started to spend more time together and had their first date at Momiji in Washington DC. Lauren has always been a huge sushi fan and this was where Josh was converted to a sashimi lover!

The Proposal
"I spent a few months trying to convince Lauren I had scheduled us a photo shoot to take our Christmas cards in DC. But, secretly I coordinated my parents, little brother, Lauren’s parents, sister, best friend from home, and grandma to make their way to DC and hideout behind the columns of the Lincoln Memorial to join in on the celebrations. Despite Lauren calling me out the week prior and calling my bluff around the photo shoot really being a proposal I think I still had her surprised as moments before I got on one knee she looked at me and asked why it felt like my heart was beating out of my chest. Few seconds later she found her answer and we got to have our special moment right before looking up and watching the family run down the memorial steps screening in excitement."

(From Lauren) What do you love most about Josh?
"Josh can brighten a room so easily with his cute dimples! We balance each other out with our personalities."

(From Josh) What do you love most about Lauren?
"I have never met another person so pure and genuine. Lauren gives so much love, not to just me, but to every person in her life whether it is family, a long time friend, or someone she has just met for the first time. I love how adventurous she can be and her willingness to try new things. Lauren is a role model to me, I love her work ethic and passion to do and be something great. She gives me the motivation I need, directly and indirectly, to be the best version of myself possible."

Lauren & Josh love to travel together. They would like to visit all 50 states and have a map in their apartment indicating which ones they have so far!
Josh said: "When Lauren and I travel I would say about 75% of the time is planned. Both being accountants we certainly appreciate structure but we also know some of the best weekends and experiences we have had have been on a whim and spontaneous."

They mention a week long trip to Arizona they took in spring of 2022 as one of their favorite.  They rented a jeep and drove all across the state visiting Pheonix, flagstaff, the grand canyons, Sedona, and Scottsdale. They did everything from visiting local restaurants to renting atv’s and taking on the Arizona red rock trails.

They are super excited about their upcoming wedding and about being able to celebrate their special day with everyone they love, in one room!

Congratulations, Lauren & Josh!

Gianna + Aaron • New Jersey Botanical Gardens Engagement

 • NEW JERSEY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER •

In early September of last year, I met with Gianna and Aaron at the picturesque New Jersey Botanical Gardens. Their engagement session was not just to capture their moments together but to celebrate their beautiful union, blossoming against the backdrop of nature.

From the moment they stepped into the gardens, their smiles radiated with an undeniable warmth, reflecting the depth of their connection that had flourished since they first met in college back in 2014.

Each photograph captured not just their physical presence but the essence of their bond, and years of laughter, support, and shared dreams that had brought them to this moment.
Surrounded by the vibrant blooms and lush greenery, Gianna and Aaron's love story unfolded effortlessly. There was a simplicity in their gestures and a genuine warmth in their embraces.

As I clicked away, freezing these precious moments in time, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement building for the future. Looking ahead to August, I find myself eagerly anticipating the opportunity to document their wedding day, to capture the exchange of vows and the joyous celebrations that will mark the beginning of their new chapter. Kayla + Matthew • Sandy Hook Engagement

   • NEW JERSEY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER •

Amidst the golden hour's warm embrace, Kayla and Matthew's love story unfolded on the picturesque shores of Sandy Hook last August. As the setting sun cast a soft glow across the sand, I was so excited to capture their engagement session filled with so much love and laughter.

Their journey began in the halls of high school, where their paths first crossed. While the details of their first date may have faded, a simple lunch, perhaps, shared after school, it was the beginning of their love story.

Fast forward to a breathtaking evening on Cape Cod beach, where Matthew dropped to one knee, professing his love and leaving Kayla speechless. And of all the places they've traveled together, it is Cape Cod that holds a special place in their hearts—the backdrop for their engagement and the beginning of their journey towards forever.

Reflecting on what draws them most to each other, Kayla speaks fondly of Matthew's good heart, his unwavering kindness, and his ability to find the beauty in every soul. For Matthew, it is Kayla's infectious sense of humor that captivates him most. Her laughter, genuine and effervescent, has the power to light up every room.

As a couple, they are the perfect balance of opposites—complementary in their differences yet united by a shared vision for their future. Whether breaking a sweat at the gym, strolling hand in hand along the beach, or whipping up culinary delights in the kitchen, Kayla and Matthew find so much joy in each other's company.

As they danced among the waves on Sandy Hook Beach, basking in the golden glow of the setting sun, Kayla and Matthew’s chemistry and connection were so evident! From the way they laughed together to the tender glances exchanged, it was clear that their love was deep and genuine.

Congratulations, Kayla & Matthew!

I am so excited to capture the next chapter of your love story- your wedding day this September!
