After several days of rain, the skies finally cleared in late May—just in time for Alexandra and Sean’s engagement session in Morristown, NJ. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect, and what followed was an evening filled with laughter, golden light, and effortless connection between two people so clearly in love.
Morristown is one of my favorite places for engagement photography, especially in the spring. The charming streets, blooming greenery, and historic architecture create endless possibilities for photos. For Alexandra and Sean, we started at the iconic Vail Mansion, a classic backdrop that never disappoints, and a relaxed walk through town.
What stood out most about this session was how natural Alexandra and Sean were together. Whether they were laughing mid-conversation, sneaking in a quick dance, or just holding each other close, their connection was undeniable. My favorite engagement sessions are the ones where couples can simply be themselves—and with these two, that made every frame feel real and alive.
If you’re recently engaged and looking for a versatile location, Morristown is a perfect choice:
- Historic landmarks like Vail Mansion for timeless, romantic portraits.
- Charming streets and greenery that bring out a lifestyle feel.
- Golden May light that adds a soft, dreamy glow to every photo.
As the sun set, Morristown gave us the most beautiful golden-hour light, wrapping Alexandra and Sean in warmth. It felt like the town itself was celebrating their love. This late-spring session was full of joy, laughter, and easy, unposed moments—the kind that make engagement photos truly meaningful.

There’s something about spring in Central Park that slows the world down. For a few hours, the chaos of the city fades into the background, and you’re left with soft light, blooming trees, and moments that feel like they’re meant just for two people. That was exactly the vibe of Meghan and Brian’s engagement session—calm, intimate, and full of genuine connection.
We started at Bethesda Terrace, where the classic stone arches gave us the perfect setting. From there, we wandered to Bow Bridge, surrounded by the first fresh greens of the season and pops of spring color. Although full of life, the park felt quiet in that rare, magical way, and it let Meghan and Brian just be themselves—laughing, talking, soaking it in.
As we walked, they told me about their wedding plans and shared the story of how Brian proposed. It happened in London, over afternoon tea at the St. Pancras Hotel. Thoughtful and low-key—completely in tune with who they are as a couple: grounded, easygoing, and deeply connected.
They met through mutual friends during a weekend in the Poconos, and from their first date at a cozy French restaurant in NYC, it was clear they had something solid. Meghan says what she loves most about Brian is how caring, kind, and smart he is—and how he’s her biggest supporter. Brian says it’s her kind heart and beautiful smile that pulled him in.
Together, they’re steady and chill. They love trying new restaurants, traveling, reading, and watching documentaries. Their favorite trip so far? Greece in 2023—sun, food, views, and memories they still talk about.
They’re planning a spring 2026 wedding at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club, a venue they love for its lush florals and stone exterior. Meghan says it feels like being in England—and it’s the perfect backdrop for the timeless, romantic day they’re dreaming of.
If this session is any indication, their wedding will be full of love, meaning, and joy. I can’t wait to capture it.

Our day began at West Point, a place Jenna knows as a professor at the Academy. The grounds, steeped in history and tradition, were a breathtaking backdrop for their engagement session. The mighty Hudson River glistened under the summer sun, and the historic charm of the old train station added a touch of timeless romance.
Every photo seemed to tell a story. Whether it was the laughter shared as they strolled hand-in-hand or the quiet moments beneath the Academy’s towering buildings, their love radiated against the iconic West Point scenery. It was clear that this place wasn’t just a setting but a reflection of Jenna’s journey and the couple’s shared respect for history and tradition.
From West Point, we embarked on a journey to Princeton, where Dan spent his university years. The drive was a scenic one, building anticipation for the architectural splendor that awaited us. Princeton did not disappoint.
The campus’ gothic spires, lush quads, and historic courtyards seemed to echo with stories of the past, offering the perfect complement to Jenna and Dan’s narrative. Walking through the pathways, the couple’s smiles and lighthearted energy were infectious. They danced in the quads, shared donuts, and laughed their way through the session.
Jenna and Dan’s engagement session was more than just a photoshoot; it was a celebration of their journey and the places that have shaped them. From the historic elegance of West Point to the academic charm of Princeton, every moment felt magical.

I couldn't have asked for a more picturesque setting than Central Park in mid-November for Lauren and Josh's engagement session. And let me tell you, the park did not disappoint.
From the moment we started our session, it was evident that Lauren and Josh shared something truly special. Their chemistry was not only visible but palpable, and their love for each other so evident in every smile, every glance, and every embrace! As they strolled hand in hand through the park, each moment seemed to unfold effortlessly, allowing me to capture genuine and heartfelt images at every turn. Their sense of ease and comfort in front of the camera made my job as a photographer an absolute joy.
Central Park may have provided the backdrop, but it was their love that truly stole the show. I can't wait to see what the future holds for these two, and I feel incredibly lucky to have been able to capture a small glimpse of their love story through my lens.

Amidst the golden hour's warm embrace, Kayla and Matthew's love story unfolded on the picturesque shores of Sandy Hook last August. As the setting sun cast a soft glow across the sand, I was so excited to capture their engagement session filled with so much love and laughter.
Their journey began in the halls of high school, where their paths first crossed. While the details of their first date may have faded, a simple lunch, perhaps, shared after school, it was the beginning of their love story.
Fast forward to a breathtaking evening on Cape Cod beach, where Matthew dropped to one knee, professing his love and leaving Kayla speechless. And of all the places they've traveled together, it is Cape Cod that holds a special place in their hearts—the backdrop for their engagement and the beginning of their journey towards forever.
Reflecting on what draws them most to each other, Kayla speaks fondly of Matthew's good heart, his unwavering kindness, and his ability to find the beauty in every soul. For Matthew, it is Kayla's infectious sense of humor that captivates him most. Her laughter, genuine and effervescent, has the power to light up every room.
As a couple, they are the perfect balance of opposites—complementary in their differences yet united by a shared vision for their future. Whether breaking a sweat at the gym, strolling hand in hand along the beach, or whipping up culinary delights in the kitchen, Kayla and Matthew find so much joy in each other's company.
As they danced among the waves on Sandy Hook Beach, basking in the golden glow of the setting sun, Kayla and Matthew’s chemistry and connection were so evident! From the way they laughed together to the tender glances exchanged, it was clear that their love was deep and genuine.
Congratulations, Kayla & Matthew!
I am so excited to capture the next chapter of your love story- your wedding day this September!
