Being a mom is probably one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. 

But being around these two little rascals brings so much joy and laughter into our life, I wouldn't have it any other way!

A Day Trip To Westhampton

Spring is here and it finally feels that way outside! 

We have counted down the days to this warm, sunny weather and it came, at last. I love being able to get out and go on quick family trips. 

This past weekend we decided to explore The Hamptons and ended up on the Westhampton Beach. 

It was so nice to feel the sand between our toes and a cool ocean breeze in our hair. Sam loved searching for the seashells and Jack discovered it wasn't easy to walk or run on the beach :-) 

We love spring because it also means that summer is just around the corner!

A Winter Walk

Ahh... we finally had a few spring-like days! 

After being stuck at home for weeks, it was great to get out and take a walk around the neighborhood. 

Fresh air and the sight of melting snow made us very excited :)

We are looking forward to spring more than ever!

Look who is turning Three!

It seems like yesterday when I held her in my arms for the first time. 

Today Samantha is turning three and it has been bitter-sweet for us. She's growing up so fast! She is no longer a baby but a little lady =)

She sleeps in a big girl bed, picks her own clothes and shoes, and requests privacy when going on the potty! 

When exactly did that happen?!

Trying to photograph two little ones together was a bit of work and a lot of sweat.

Samantha was ready and excited, Jack not too thrilled about the rose petals or the flashing lights ;-)

Being able to escape the cold winter weather for just a few days was something we were looking forward to.  Our destination- The US Virgin Island of St. Thomas. 

Crystal clear water and a blue sky, sandy beach and a gentle breeze....

Oh... to feel the warmth of the sun on our skin again....
