An Afternoon On The Beach

As the sun began to set we took a walk on the Westhampton Beach. 

It was the last day of our vacation in the Hamptons and the kids could not get enough of the sand and the ocean. 

It was so peaceful and soothing...

I always have a lot of fun photographing Marissa, 

whether it is her engagement sessions {Winter | Summer, Part 1 | Summer, Part 2} 

or this- more intimate- shoot.

We met a few weeks before her wedding day and kept it 'top secret' 

as it was one of her wedding gifts for Jason, her then soon-to-be husband.

Cooling off in the lake on a hot summer day... how much more romantic could this session get?!

Surrounded by nature, Marissa and Jason let loose and took a little dip in the lake.
It was so fitting because it is SO them!

Marissa & Jason- Summer Session, Part 1

Quite a difference in the scenery from the last time I photographed Marissa and Jason.
Everything was covered in a thick blanket of snow and they were engaged for just a few weeks. 

We met again to celebrate their beautiful love with a summer session
only a few days before they become Mr. & Mrs.

Spending an afternoon in the countryside, they couldn't possibly look any more in love!

I was totally smitten.

At The Lake

When celebrating Andreas' Birthday, we got to spend some time at the beautiful Lake Valhalla. 

Children seemed to have the time of their life running around and playing on the beach. 

Because who does not enjoy sand under their feet and a cool breeze

 on a hot summer day? 

Happy Father's Day!

When you meet The One and fall in love, 

you might wonder what kind of a father he will be to your children. 

I should have known that Steve would be a super fun dad the day he played with toys of the boy I babysat when we started seeing each other.

It was, for sure, an indicator, haha!

Fast forward 14 years or so and he is the best and most fun dad a child could have.

Happy Father's Day to this amazing man I am so lucky to share my life with.
 I love you more and more each day.
And our children adore you!
