On this sunny Sunday afternoon I met with Kate and her two adorable daughters, Annie and Molly. They were the winners of my first photography giveaway :-)
The girls were full of energy! There were cartwheels, jumping around, posing, and giggles mixed with lots of sisterly love.

Summer Fun at Brookhollow's Barnyard

The summer has been surprisingly comfortable this year.
So, when we were invited to join our friends and their children for a fun afternoon at Brookhollow's Barnyard, we did not think twice. 

From train and tractor ride, to two huge sandboxes filled with toys, a playhouse with a kitchen, and many farm animals to feed, it is a perfect place for the little ones to run around and play. 

It's our new favorite place to visit!

Happy Father's Day!

Another year, another little one added to our bunch, and another reason to love my husband even more! He is the world's best dad! He amazes me every single day with the amount of love and patience he has for our children. Samantha absolutely adores him! And Jack always smiles when he sees him!

Happy Father's Day to the father of my children ;) and to all the dads, first-time dads and dads-to-be out there! Hope you all have a wonderful day!

At The Farm

Everyday after her school Samantha visits the local farm. She loves feeding the goats and seeing how the bunny rabbits are doing. She runs around and explores.
The amount of energy this girl has is unbelievable!

Coney Island

On this sunny Saturday morning we took a trip with the little ones to Coney Island.
The Brooklyn Half Marathon had just ended when we arrived and there were still many runners relaxing by the beach.

Coney Island is famous for having several of the best known amusement parks in the world, as well as Nathan's (in)famous Hot Dog Eating Contest held each year on the Fourth of July. The countdown has begun.

We took a stroll up and down the boardwalk enjoying the beautiful spring weather. Sam had a blast running on the beach and going on a few rides. Jack slept through all the fun.

We had a quick bite to eat before heading back home. Hot dogs were a must!

Happy Mother's Day!

As I am celebrating my third Mother's Day as a mom I have developed even greater appreciation and gratitude for my own mom.
No one can prepare you for what motherhood brings and you will never understand it unless you've experienced it yourself. Your life is no longer about you. It is now filled with constant worries about your children's well-being, sleepless nights when they're sick or scared, intertwined with happy days, moments of joy and pride when watching them grow and meet yet another milestone.
No two days are ever the same, and each day is special and irreplaceable.

I am excited about the future and I look forward to seeing who my children will grow up to be.

Being A Toddler

She is very energetic and independent. She knows what she wants and often puts up a fight to get it!
She loves to play and explore, paint and draw.
She loves clothes and is obsessed with shoes ;-) Two going on Twenty!
