I met Brynn of Brynn Hudson Jewelry through a friend and we clicked instantly. 

Our first meeting was to discuss and brainstorm ideas for our collaboration and it was clear to me right then we spoke the same 'language'.

I was super excited to work with Brynn and her sister, Alyson, on showcasing their beautiful and chic jewelry collection of necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Each piece, so unique and elegant, is sure to make a bold statement!

We all had an amazing time working together and agreed that the day exceeded our expectations!
Between their exquisite jewelry, our stunning model Alexia and flawless makeup by Angela, everything fell perfectly into place.

Taleen + Lou • Bernards Inn Wedding • New Jersey Wedding Photographer

From adorable floral robes to sequin bridesmaids dresses and two of the most gorgeous bridal gowns, this wedding was filled with beauty.

I met with Taleen and her bridal party at Jacqueline Cicala Bridal Atelier in Morristown where they had their hair and makeup done. Once everyone was ready we headed to the outdoor courtyard for a few shots in their matching floral robes. You could see everyone's excitement for what was to come.

Soon after leaving Morristown we arrived at Bernards Inn located in Bernardsville, New Jersey, where Taleen + Lou's ceremony and reception took place.
With the help of her mom, Taleen put on her stunning lace gown and stepped out of her room to have the first look with her bridesmaids. It was such a sweet and emotional moment.

Taleen and Lou's ceremony was very personal- the officiant read their love story, how they met thanks to their dogs and how their relationship quickly developed into their 'forever'.

Before joining their guests in celebrating their nuptials, Taleen and Lou headed outside for their portraits. I couldn't help but notice their undeniable love and admiration for each other.

Caitlin + Ryan's Engagement Session • Jersey City + Manhattan • New Jersey/New York Wedding Photographer

You say New York, I say 'when?'

I fell in love with the city during my first visit almost two decades ago!
So when Caitlin and Ryan reached out to me and mentioned they would love to have their engagement photos taken with the city skyline as the backdrop I was beyond excited!

We met in Jersey City for the first part of their session and after exploring the waterside we took the ferry to the other side of the Hudson River and spent some time in Battery Park and the neighborhood.

Caitlin and Ryan met during their freshman year at The College of New Jersey, to be exact - it was while they were moving into the same freshman dorm!

Here's their engagement story:

On Fourth of July weekend 2016, Caitlin's parents were organizing a Fourth of July party at their house. Caitlin thought the party was going to be like any get together her family hosted -burgers and hot dogs on the grill, beer in the cooler and a great time with family. Little did she know, Ryan had planned an elaborate surprise that would make the weekend unforgettable - the proposal. 

On Saturday, July 2, 2016, Caitlin, Ryan and Caitlin's sister Jen went on a picnic to where Caitlin & Ryan met - the campus of The College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ. Caitlin & Ryan loved to go on picnics in fun places, such as Central Park and Governor's Island in Manhattan, and had discussed going to TCNJ for a picnic for a while - so Caitlin was completely oblivious to what was about to happen. After eating lunch, Caitlin, Ryan and Jen went on a walk around campus. After stopping for photos at the fountain in the Science Complex, Ryan turned to Caitlin and professed his love for her.

To say Caitlin was completely astonished when Ryan went down on one knee and popped the question would be an understatement. After some stunned silence, she (finally) said yes. 

To make the day even more special, remember that Fourth of July party her family was planning? It turned out to be a surprise engagement party with Caitlin & Ryan's families and best friends. It was one of the best days of their lives.

Labor Day Weekend in Avalon • New Jersey Family Photographer

As the days get cooler and shorter I can't help but reminisce and re-live some of the warmer days.
I honestly cannot believe the summer is over! It went by so fast!

I have to admit it must have been one of the busiest summers for us and besides a few road trips we didn't get to take a longer family vacation. So, before the kids headed back to school, we planned to go away for just a few days and spend them in Avalon, New Jersey. 

We have fallen in love with the beach, the town and nearby Stone Harbor,
and before our vacation was over we already started making plans to come back next summer!
The children loved exploring the shore in the morning and practicing their swimming in the pool in the afternoon. We also visited nearby Cape May which had been on our list for a very long time.

So long, Avalon! We will be back next year!

Brooke + Alex's Engagement Session • Chester • New Jersey Wedding Photographer

Brooke and Alex have quite the history! Their love has been 22 years in the making! Twenty Two Years!

I met with Brooke and Alex at Dickerson School in Chester, NJ, where they met in first grade. Brooke recalls how they would trade each others granola bars and fruit roll-ups back then.
Brooke still has their class picture! 

Throughout elementary, middle and high schools they were be part of the same group of friends but didn't start dating until freshman year.
They went their separate ways to different colleges only to be reunited a year later!
They have been together ever since.

Alex proposed to Brooke on April 8th while taking their pup Roddy for a morning walk on a pier overlooking NYC {how romantic!} Not expecting anything, Brooke was completely shocked.
Their dinner plans that night turned into an engagement celebration with their friends.

Congratulations, Brooke and Alex! I absolutely loved spending an afternoon getting to know you.
I cannot wait to celebrate your big day next October!

Happy Father's Day

I love hearing the little voices calling 'Daddy! Dadda!' and watching the children climb on my husband as if he were a big mountain, or being able to get what they want when mommy isn't around.

There is definitely a soft spot for them in his heart and as much as he tries to deny it, the kids have him wrapped around their fingers. 

And that is the thing about Fathers!
They might seem tough and strong but underneath it all, they are softies when it comes to the little ones.

Dads are our first loves, big teddy bears to hug (nothing cozier than daddy's lap), and our biggest supporters!
They are here to guide us through life and to push us to try over again. Because they believe in us and love us unconditionally!

Happy Father's Day to this wonderful man with whom I get to share the journey of parenthood. 

Your love for our children, your devotion and support is what makes me fall in love with you over and over again! Samantha and Jack are so lucky to call you their daddy! 

And a very Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful dads out there!

But most importantly, I would like to wish a wonderful day to my Dad who might be oceans away but is always in my thoughts!

We spent this Memorial Day weekend traveling up north to visit our friends in Plymouth, MA.

Steve and I met Andrea and Sean while on our 'babymoon' cruise to Bermuda.
Despite the distance- we live in NJ, they in MA - we were able to keep in touch {thanks to Facebook 👍🏻} and see each other from time to time.

We were super excited to spend a few days with them, catch up over a glass of wine and let our children play together. It was such a fun weekend and we are so grateful for their hospitality!

Of course, I could not leave without a few family shots on a nearby beach!

It is one of those sessions that fill my heart with so much happiness.
I absolutely love photographing expecting couples! There is nothing more beautiful than a mommy-to-be and the loving eyes of her husband.

I met with Magdalena and Gary on an exceptionally warm spring afternoon at one of the most gorgeous parks.

Cross Estate Gardens is where they had their wedding pictures taken a little over two years ago and were excited to come back there to capture this special time in their lives.
Their baby girl is due this June and it is hard to miss how much she is loved already!
